Cross-origin data leak via crafted HTML
Published May 28, 2026 · Updated May 28, 2026
Information exposure in Google Chrome Media before 148.0.7778.216 allows remote attackers to leak cross-origin data on Windows. Google has not disclosed which Media code path incorrectly permits a compromised renderer to cross an origin boundary while processing crafted HTML. Exploitation requires user interaction with the page and prior renderer compromise; the reported consequence is limited to data disclosure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
