CVE-2026-9981Network attack vector

Process-memory disclosure via incorrect Vulkan dependency test

Published May 28, 2026 · Updated May 28, 2026

Information disclosure in Skia in Google Chrome before 148.0.7778.216 allows remote attackers to read process memory via crafted HTML. Skia's Vulkan render-pass code tests a self-dependency flag with equality instead of a bitwise mask, misapplying layouts and bindings when both flags are set. A user must load attacker-controlled HTML; the documented impact is memory disclosure without integrity or availability loss.
