Code execution via undisclosed iOS use-after-free
Published May 28, 2026 · Updated May 28, 2026
Use after free in Google Chrome on iOS before 148.0.7778.216 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted HTML. Google identifies the affected locus only as the browser's iOS code; the restricted issue does not disclose which object is freed or how crafted input causes its later reuse. Exploitation requires a user to perform specific UI gestures on the malicious page, after which attacker-controlled code executes in the affected browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
