Process-memory disclosure via misprepared Vulkan line-loop draws
Published May 28, 2026 · Updated May 28, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in ANGLE in Google Chrome before 148.0.7778.216 allows remote attackers to read process memory via crafted HTML. ANGLE's Vulkan setupLineLoopDraw path omitted the base instance and instance count when preparing line-loop draw state, causing instanced vertex data to be addressed beyond its valid range. A user must load the crafted page; the read exposes potentially sensitive browser-process data without reported write or execution capability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
