Cross-origin data disclosure via uninitialized ANGLE use

Published May 28, 2026 · Updated May 28, 2026

Uninitialized use in ANGLE in Google Chrome before 148.0.7778.216 allows remote attackers to leak cross-origin data via a crafted HTML page. Public records identify ANGLE as the locus but do not disclose which value is used before initialization or how that value crosses the origin boundary. A victim must load the attacker's page; the published impact is data disclosure, not code execution or a documented sandbox escape.
