Invalid memory access via premature interrupt-handler installation
Published Oct 28, 2026 · Updated Oct 28, 2026
Linux MXC GPIO initialization races allow attackers to trigger invalid memory access via interrupts during device probing. mxc_update_irq_chained_handler() installs handlers before their dependencies exist, permitting a NULL domain access; probe failures also leave a handler referencing freed memory. Exposure requires the affected driver and a racing or post-failure interrupt; attacker control and further impact are undocumented.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
