Sandbox escape via Accessibility use-after-free
Published May 28, 2026 · Updated May 28, 2026
Use after free in Google Chrome Accessibility before 148.0.7778.216 on Windows allows remote attackers to escape the browser sandbox. The Chromium issue is access-restricted, so Google has not disclosed which Accessibility object is freed and later reused while processing crafted HTML. Exploitation requires user interaction with the page and prior renderer-process compromise; successful use crosses the sandbox boundary.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
