Unspecified impact via freed dynamic-port index
Published Oct 23, 2026 · Updated Oct 23, 2026
Use-after-free in the Linux ice driver allows attackers to cause unspecified impact via dynamic-port cleanup on affected kernels. In ice_dealloc_dynamic_port(), the VSI is freed before its index is read to remove the dynamic port from pf->dyn_ports. Reachability requires the affected ice dynamic-port cleanup path; the published patch does not establish attacker privileges or a concrete security consequence beyond the invalid memory access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
