Sandbox escape via Accessibility use-after-free
Published May 28, 2026 · Updated May 28, 2026
Use after free in Accessibility in Google Chrome before 148.0.7778.216 allows remote attackers to escape the sandbox via crafted HTML. Chrome identifies an Accessibility object-lifetime error, but the restricted issue does not disclose the affected class, stale reference, or triggering operation. Exploitation requires a prior renderer-process compromise and interaction with the crafted page; successful escape crosses the renderer sandbox boundary.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
