Sandbox escape via Dawn out-of-bounds memory access
Published May 28, 2026 · Updated May 28, 2026
Out-of-bounds access in Dawn in Google Chrome for Android before 148.0.7778.216 allows remote attackers to escape the sandbox. Google has not disclosed the affected Dawn function, buffer, or operation that permits the out-of-bounds read and write. A user must load the crafted HTML page; successful exploitation crosses the browser sandbox boundary and exposes resources outside renderer isolation.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
