CVE-2026-98806Hinoki check available

Invalid memory access via unchecked queue-map dereference

Published Oct 18, 2026 · Updated Oct 18, 2026

NULL dereference in Linux's octeontx2-pf driver allows attackers to cause invalid memory access during queue initialization. The aura and completion-queue initialization paths index queue_to_pfc_map without checking whether SDP virtual functions allocated that map. The affected path requires CONFIG_DCB and SDP virtual functions; attacker control and the resulting failure mode are not documented.
