Packet truncation via receive-length overflow
Published Oct 18, 2026 · Updated Oct 18, 2026
Integer overflow in Linux's btintel_pcie driver allows attackers to truncate received packets via malformed ACL/ISO lengths. The btintel_pcie_recv_frame() function stores the header-plus-payload length in a 16-bit variable, allowing large lengths to wrap and bypass the packet-size check before skb_trim(). Exposure requires the Intel Bluetooth PCIe receive path; public evidence does not establish attacker privileges, over-the-air reachability, or consequences beyond packet truncation.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
