Guest-execution errors via missing nested-memory mappings
Published Oct 18, 2026 · Updated Oct 18, 2026
Mapping errors in Linux 7.0 s390 KVM allow guest OS users to trigger erroneous userspace returns during nested guest execution. The _gaccess_shadow_fault() path propagates dat_entry_walk()'s -ENOENT instead of establishing a missing parent mapping for the nested guest page. Exposure requires s390 nested virtualization; the disclosure does not establish a host crash or privilege escalation.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
