Unauthenticated command execution via autoregistration input
Published Jun 15, 2026 · Updated Jun 15, 2026
OS command injection in Fortra Core Privileged Access Manager (BoKS) allows remote attackers to execute commands during autoregistration. In affected boks-server 8.1.0.0 through 8.1.0.22 and 9.0.0.0 through 9.0.0.4, boks_autoregisterd fails to neutralize command elements in network-supplied input; Fortra has not identified the input field or command-building path. Network access to TCP port 6507 is sufficient, and successful exploitation runs commands with the privileges of the service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
