CVE-2026-9853

Local object read and modification via authentication bypass

Published Sep 3, 2026 · Updated Sep 3, 2026

Authentication bypass in Hitachi Energy MicroSCADA X SYS600 10.0 through 10.8 allows local users to read and modify application objects. The application-object access path treats operating-system authentication as sufficient and omits the required SYS600 user check. An attacker needs an authenticated account on the host server; no SYS600 account or session is required to view or alter control-system objects.
