CVE-2026-9852

Data manipulation and exfiltration via CSV log formulas

Published Sep 3, 2026 · Updated Sep 3, 2026

CSV injection in Hitachi Energy MicroSCADA X SYS600 10.0 through 10.7 allows attackers to alter or exfiltrate data via crafted log messages. The Notify service exports attacker-controlled log text to CSV without neutralizing formula-leading characters, causing spreadsheets to evaluate the text as formulas. Attackers must be able to create arbitrary log messages, and a Windows user must export and open the log; code execution depends on spreadsheet security settings.
