Unspecified impact via uninitialized access decisions
Published Oct 14, 2026 · Updated Oct 14, 2026
Uninitialized memory use in Linux kernel SELinux allows attackers to cause unspecified impact via unspecified vectors. In security/selinux/avc.c, avc_has_perm_noaudit() returns without initializing its output decision when the requested permission set is empty; callers then use stack contents for auditing and the inode hook caches them. Reachability requires the affected SELinux path, but attacker privileges and a concrete security consequence are not disclosed.
