CVE-2026-98392

Out-of-bounds access via transmit-index off-by-one

Published Oct 14, 2026 · Updated Oct 14, 2026

Bounds error in Linux 6.10 Bluetooth transmit handling allows attackers to cause out-of-bounds access via an invalid queue index. The btintel_pcie_msix_tx_handle() guard accepts tfd_index equal to txq->count, although that value exceeds the queue arrays' final valid index. The path requires the Intel PCIe Bluetooth driver; attacker control of the index and consequences beyond the bounds violation are not established in the public disclosure.
