Invalid memory access via uncanceled busy-timeout work
Published Oct 6, 2026 · Updated Oct 6, 2026
Use-after-free in the Linux kernel MMCI host driver allows stale timeout work to access freed host memory during device removal. The mmci_remove() path fails to cancel work queued by ux500_busy_complete() for an R1b command, so the worker can dereference a released mmci_host. The condition requires a busy-detect controller variant and removal while timeout work remains queued; attacker control and consequences beyond invalid memory access are not established.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
