Administrative session abuse via unsanitized project names
Published May 29, 2026 · Updated May 29, 2026
Stored XSS in Mautic 7.0.0 through 7.1.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in an administrator's browser. Administrative detail views render project tags and popovers from stored project names without proper output sanitization. Exploitation requires project creation or editing permission and an administrator to hover over a compromised tag; script execution can perform actions through the active administrative session or read data accessible to it.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
