GFX11 graphics-engine denial of service via spurious flush
Published Sep 25, 2026 · Updated Sep 25, 2026
Denial of service in Linux 6.10 allows attackers to wedge the GFX11 SDMA engine during VRAM clear-on-release operations. The amdgpu_ttm_clear_buffer path forces a VMID 0 flush after amdgpu_ttm_map_buffer returns a direct VRAM address without programming a GART window. The condition is limited to GFX11 hardware such as Navi33; no attacker-controlled trigger is published, and the bounded consequence is a wedged graphics engine.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
