API documentation disclosure via anonymous security matcher
Published Sep 25, 2026 · Updated Sep 25, 2026
Missing authentication in StarTraining 3.8.0 through 3.8.1 allows remote attackers to read API documentation through the api-docs endpoint. SecurityConfig.configure marks the wildcard /*/api-docs route as anonymous, so Spring Security skips the otherwise required JWT authentication. Any remote client that can reach the deployment can retrieve the exposed interface description; available evidence does not establish access to protected business records or any ability to modify data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
