Command execution via unescaped ACL export values
Published Sep 25, 2026 · Updated Sep 25, 2026
Command injection in MISP modules 3.0.10 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to embed shell commands in exported ACL scripts. The Cisco fireSIGHT ACL export handler formats configuration, IP, URL, and event-comment values into single-quoted shell assignments without escaping apostrophes. Exploitation requires event-submission access and execution of the generated script, which runs injected commands with the analyst's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
