Serial-ID disclosure via unchecked device rebinding
Published Oct 16, 2026 · Updated Oct 16, 2026
Authorization failure in EseeCloud App 4.9.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to read device serial IDs via rebinding requests. The server replaces an existing owner's device association with the requesting account's association despite the prior binding; EseeCloud Firmware 4.9.86.0 and earlier is also affected. The request targets an already-associated device, and the disclosed consequence is serial-ID exposure rather than camera control.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
