Authenticated SYSTEM code execution via restoreDB path traversal
Published Jun 24, 2026 · Updated Jun 24, 2026
Directory traversal in ATEN Unizon 2.7.262.002 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code as SYSTEM via restoreDB. The restoreDB method uses a user-supplied path in file operations without restricting it to the intended directory. High-privileged authentication is required, but successful exploitation grants code execution with full Windows SYSTEM authority.
