CVE-2026-97717Network attack vector

Persistent denial of service via malformed proxy data

Published Oct 7, 2026 · Updated Oct 7, 2026

Denial of service in Absolute Secure Access servers before 14.60 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service via malformed proxy data. The server's proxy subsystem processes the malformed data, but Absolute has not disclosed the parsing error or state change that makes the interruption persistent. A valid account and network access to the server are required; the reported effect is persistent loss of availability, not data access or code execution.
