Persistent service interruption via malformed authentication response
Published Oct 7, 2026 · Updated Oct 7, 2026
Denial of service in Absolute Secure Access servers before 14.60 allows attackers to interrupt service with a malformed authentication response. The server authentication subsystem mishandles the response, but Absolute has not disclosed the affected parser or validation step. The attacker must supply a response during an authentication exchange; the reported result is persistent loss of service, not data access.
