Class-presence disclosure via attacker-controlled class loading
Published Oct 15, 2026 · Updated Oct 15, 2026
Information disclosure in Sonatype Nexus Repository before 3.97.0 allows remote attackers to probe Java classes via ExtDirect. The ExtDirect endpoint passes attacker-controlled input to a Java class-loading call, revealing whether specific classes are present in the application. Exploitation requires network access to the endpoint but no authentication; the issue alone does not allow code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

CVSS describes severity. EPSS estimates exploitation probability.
Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
