Administrator access via imported default account
Published Sep 25, 2026 · Updated Sep 25, 2026
Default credentials in Student Management System 98760f5711cf6dc8b4adca53a9e207ca49b02ebf allow remote attackers to gain administrator access. The documented example_lite.sql import inserts the admin account with the MD5 hash of the password admin, and login.php accepts that pair on the normal administrator path. Exposure requires a deployment initialized with the sample data and the unchanged account; successful login grants all administrator functions exposed by the application.
