Database disclosure via unchecked ticket report orderby
Published Oct 2, 2026 · Updated Oct 2, 2026
SQL injection in Event Tickets and Registration 5.29.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data via orderby. The ticket-report ordering query accepts the user-supplied sort parameter without sufficient validation or SQL preparation. A contributor can reach that query by supplying a post_id for a post they authored; the can_access_page() gate does not require permission to edit other authors' posts.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
