Service instability via incomplete runtime PM rollback
Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026
Improper error handling in the Linux QCOM QSPI driver before 6.12.111 or 6.18.53 allows attackers to cause power imbalance. The runtime suspend and resume paths fail to check every pin-control and performance-state operation, partially roll back acquired resources after errors, and order clock changes unsafely. The condition requires applicable Qualcomm QSPI hardware and a mid-sequence power-management failure; the documented consequence is clock or power imbalance with brownout risk, not code execution or data access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
