Cross-namespace information disclosure via unfiltered RDS lists
Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026
Information disclosure in Linux 6.12 before 6.12.111 and 6.18 before 6.18.53 allows local users to read host-wide RDS state. RDS_INFO_* getsockopt handlers iterate global socket and connection lists without filtering entries to the caller's network namespace. An unprivileged caller needs a fresh user and network namespace plus reachable AF_RDS support; exposed data includes socket inodes, peer addresses, and sequence numbers.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
