Unverified S3 bucket ownership in IBM Netezza Performance Server 11.3.0.3 through Interim Fix 002 allows remote attackers to redirect requests. The affected operations omit the AWS S3 ExpectedBucketOwner parameter, so S3 accepts a same-named bucket without confirming the account that owns it. Exploitation requires a misconfiguration or naming collision, and requests redirected to an attacker-controlled bucket expose their contents and permit altered responses.
