Unsafe teardown via premature shared-NAPI deletion
Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026
Resource-lifecycle error in Linux dpaa2-switch before 6.12.111 and before 6.18.53 allows local users to trigger premature NAPI deletion. The dpaa2_switch_remove function unregisters and frees each port in one pass, deleting shared NAPI instances attached to the first port before the remaining ports disable them. Reaching the faulty path requires administrative device removal on a multi-port NXP DPAA2 system; no remote trigger, data exposure, or code execution is documented.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
