CVE-2026-97424Hinoki check available

AMDGPU interrupt-state corruption via mismatched RAS teardown

Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026

Resource-lifecycle flaw in Linux before 6.18.53 allows attackers to corrupt AMDGPU ECC interrupt state during suspend or teardown. The GFX9 RAS path releases cp_ecc_error_irq under conditions that do not match acquisition and can release it twice after suspend without resume. Reachability requires AMDGPU GFX9 RAS operation, including an SR-IOV VF suspend or a suspend followed by driver unload; published evidence reports warnings and incorrect IRQ state, not code execution.
