CVE-2026-97407Hinoki check available

Undefined device state via ignored resume failure

Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026

Improper error handling in Linux before 6.12.111 and 6.18.53 allows attackers to cause unpowered Rockchip PDM register accesses. rockchip_pdm_set_fmt() ignores a failed runtime-power resume and continues accessing hardware registers while the device state is undefined. Exposure requires the Rockchip PDM audio driver on compatible hardware and a runtime-resume failure; the resulting security impact is unspecified.
