Unauthenticated stored XSS via unescaped Select options
Published Oct 2, 2026 · Updated Oct 2, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Crocoblock JetFormBuilder 3.6.5.4 and earlier lets remote attackers run scripts in visitors' browsers. The Insert/Update Post action stores submitted choice data in post meta, and the get_from_db generator passes it to a Select field template that emits option values and labels without escaping. Exploitation requires a publicly submittable form that writes the relevant post meta and a page that renders a Select field from that meta; the script runs when a visitor opens that page.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
