Stored XSS via forged visitor IP header
Published Oct 3, 2026 · Updated Oct 3, 2026
Stored DOM-based XSS in WP-Buy Visitor Traffic Real Time Statistics 8.16 and earlier allows remote attackers to run script in a viewer's browser. The unauthenticated ahcfree_track_visitor AJAX handler stores an entity-encoded X-Real-IP header value that the statistics interface later renders as executable content. A crafted request requires no account or nonce, but execution requires a user to view the affected statistics content; the script runs in that viewer's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
