OAuth account takeover via redirect URI prefix matching
Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026
Open redirect in RuoYi-Vue Pro through 2026.08 allows remote attackers to send OAuth responses to attacker-controlled domains. validOAuthClientFromCache accepts redirect_uri values that merely begin with a registered URI, so crafted subdomains or userinfo URLs pass validation. Exploitation requires a victim to complete the OAuth flow; the attacker can capture the authorization code and exchange it for an access token.
