Cart quantity-rule bypass via unchecked builder input
Published Oct 5, 2026 · Updated Oct 5, 2026
VillaTheme BuildKit – Product Builder for WooCommerce – Custom PC Builder 1.0.28 and earlier accepts invalid product quantities from attackers. The front-end builder stores submitted quantities in the session and inserts them into the WooCommerce cart without enforcing product minimum, maximum, or step restrictions. A storefront with the quantity field enabled exposes this path to customers, allowing cart entries that violate quantity rules; further checkout or payment impact is not established.
