Settings modification via missing admin nonce validation
Published Jun 24, 2026 · Updated Jun 24, 2026
CSRF in MotorDesk for WordPress 1.1.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to change plugin settings through a forged admin request. The motordesk_admin_home function processes the search page URI, custom template directory path, and search options without verifying a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires a site administrator with an active session to submit the attacker-controlled request, enabling unauthorized configuration changes.
