Subscriber-level browser script execution via stored XSS
Published Sep 30, 2026 · Updated Sep 30, 2026
Stored XSS in ThemeREX Addons before 2.45.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a visitor's browser. The CNA identifies stored XSS but does not disclose the affected field, handler, or output path that processes subscriber-controlled content. Subscriber-level access is required to place the payload, and a privileged user must load the affected content for the script to run in that user's browser.
