Arbitrary file access via unchecked path input
Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026
Path traversal in Volotat Anagnorisis 0.4.0 through 0.4.2 allows remote attackers to access files via crafted web requests. The get_file_content, save_file_content, move_files, and start_streaming handlers in page.html accept path input without containing filesystem resolution to intended directories. Requests can read, overwrite, move, or stream files reachable by the application process; published material does not identify an authentication requirement.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
