Credential disclosure and post deletion via nonce-only AJAX
Published Sep 27, 2026 · Updated Sep 27, 2026
Missing authorization in NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster before 4.4.8 allows remote authenticated users to disclose credentials and delete posts. Several AJAX actions trust a nonce without checking the caller's SNAP capability or ownership of the targeted post or configuration data. An administrator must first grant the account access to SNAP posting features; that access permits social-account credential export, arbitrary post deletion, and plugin configuration reset.
