Settings tampering via missing nonce validation
Published Jun 2, 2026 · Updated Jun 2, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Pacific Coast Information Systems Laiser Tag 1.2.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter settings. The addOptionsPageFields function persists settings-form values, including the API key, blacklist, thresholds, batch size, and toggles, without validating a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to visit a crafted link or attacker-controlled page, causing the browser to submit the forged request with the administrator's session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
