Subscriber-level disclosure via unchecked AJAX user lookups
Published Oct 11, 2026 · Updated Oct 11, 2026
User-data disclosure in WP-Invoice 4.3.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read profiles via AJAX requests. WPI_Ajax search_email and search_recipient return user records, while get_user_date reads profile metadata for a supplied email address, without capability checks. A Subscriber account suffices to retrieve registered users' email addresses, display names, and profile details; this finding concerns unauthorized reads, not account modification.
