CVE-2026-97165Network attack vector

Reflected XSS and open redirect via Back link

Published Sep 27, 2026 · Updated Sep 27, 2026

Reflected XSS and open redirect in Event Gallery 3.11.4 through 6.0.0 allow remote attackers to redirect editors or execute script via a crafted URL. The front-end upload page base64-decodes the return parameter and writes it without validation into the Back link, allowing an external destination or script-bearing target. Exploitation requires an authenticated editor to open the prepared link, and the resulting script runs in that editor's session.
