Persistent account access via missing token revocation
Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026
Insufficient session expiration in SigNoz 0.98.0 through 0.142.1 allows remote authenticated users to retain account access. UpdatePasswordByResetPasswordToken and DeleteUser omit DeleteTokensByUserID, leaving opaque tokens and cached identities valid. A preexisting session token and the nondefault opaque tokenizer are required; access lasts up to 30 days after reset or 30 minutes after deletion.
