CVE-2026-96899Network attack vector

Stored XSS via unsanitized faq_script output

Published Sep 27, 2026 · Updated Sep 27, 2026

Stored XSS in Optima Express IDX 8.6.0 through 8.7.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through a REST endpoint. The endpoint stores the faq_script value without neutralizing it, and the plugin echoes that value into the document head when the post renders. Author-level access is sufficient, and the injected script runs in the affected site's origin when visitors view the post.
