CVE-2026-96883Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Authenticated code execution via mismatched type metadata

Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026

Type confusion in Amazon Web Services pgcollection 2.0.0 through 2.1.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via SQL. Collection value retrieval and array conversion accept an incompatible requested type, then datumCopy uses metadata that does not match the stored datum representation. Database login and SQL execution privileges are required; exploitation runs code as the PostgreSQL operating-system user or crashes the backend.
